Wineries
Chateaux aux Arc Vineyards and Winery
Altus, Arkansas
Chateaux aux Arc (pronounced “Ozark”) has been in business since 2001 and was the fifth winery to open in Arkansas since Prohibition. What makes the winery stand out even more is that it was the first and only winery in Arkansas that was owned and operated by a woman. Audrey House began by selling her grapes to other wineries, but she eventually wanted to create her own wine. She started with just two wines: Altage and Chardonnay. In the twenty years the winery has been in operation, the wine selection has grown exponentially. The winery focuses on 100% Arkansas grown vintages, and consistently wins multiple international awards each year. The lineup now includes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Vignoles, Syrah, Malbec, Petit Sirah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Niagara, Steuben, Jupiter, Neptune, Muscadine, and Cynthiana, the State Grape of Arkansas. Chateaux aux Arc provides a scenic retreat where visitors can connect with the nature around them while sipping a glass of award-winning Arkansas wine.

Holladay Distillery
Weston, Missouri
The idea of Holladay Distillery started with a limestone spring and two men named Ben Holladay and Major David Holladay. Together, these men founded the distillery in 1856. As the decades passed, the distillery would change owners and even names several times. In 2016, the distillery celebrated its 160 year history by returning to its bourbon-making roots and reclaiming the Holladay name. While more modern techniques are now used to create the bourbon, the recipe has never changed. The distillery offers tours of the limestone spring, the original stillhouse, and the rows of aging barrels stacked in the bonded rickhouses. Tastings of this fine Missouri Bourbon are also included in the tour. The distillery also serves seasonal cocktails, neat pours, and Bourbon flights each week from Wednesday through Sunday.
